December 12 – Arsenal have signed a multi-year partnership with global payroll and HR platform Deel, bringing the tech company into elite sport for the first time as it becomes the club’s Official HR Platform Partner – the next step in its aim to accelerate its international profile. Deel will replace the controversial sleeve patch sponsorship with Visit Rwanda.
The agreement will see Deel branding integrated across Emirates Stadium and Arsenal’s digital channels, covering all men’s and women’s home fixtures in the Premier League, WSL, FA Cup and League Cup. For Arsenal, the deal extends a commercial strategy centred on partnering with high-growth, tech-driven firms with international reach.
The club will also begin using Deel’s platform to manage parts of its own workforce and operations, bringing the system into a Premier League environment for the first time.
Alex Bouaziz, co-founder and CEO of Deel, said: “Arsenal is one of the most iconic clubs in world sport, followed by millions and competing at the highest level, which makes this partnership a natural fit with our own global ambition.
“We are proud to welcome Arsenal as a Deel customer, and support the club’s HR operations. This partnership is a milestone for us and places Deel at the heart of global football, connecting our platform with supporters and professionals in every corner of the world.”
No value was given for the sponsorship.
Juliet Slot, chief commercial officer at Arsenal, added: “Deel’s global platform matches the scale of our ambition and operations, and their investment will continue to power our growth.”
