The Game Awards 2025 are finally here, and that means we’ll finally get to see which nominees take home trophies by the end of the night. Along with host Geoff Keighley, presenters will be revealing some of the biggest upcoming games along with handing out awards for everything from Best Score & Music and Best RPG to Best Art Direction and the coveted GOTY crown.

Which Game Will Win GOTY This Year?

There are some great titles up for Game of the Year at TGA 2025, but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the clear front-runner. The RPG was a huge talking point in the industry throughout the year, and it was met with a lot of critical accolades and an ever-growing playerbase. Clair Obscur also became the most nominated game in the history of The Game Awards, which certainly counts for something.

We won’t know who wins GOTY until the end of this year’s broadcast, but we’re betting the award will go to Clair Obscur. This article will be updated with the actual winner once the award is presented at The Game Awards 2025.
