Rosario Dawson has offered an exciting update on the development of Ahsoka Season 2. The series was also renewed for a second season, with Dave Filoni continuing the ambitious story that began in Season 1. , the Ahsoka star has revealed her unique approach to preparing for the upcoming season.
In an interview with Collider, Dawson recalled how her process of preparing for the next season involved waiting to read the scripts until the table read. Traditionally, actors have spoken about reading a project as soon as it becomes available to them. However, in Dawson’s case, she would prefer to first discover the story for Season 2 through the performances of her fellow cast members. She explained:

Now, the series creator has revealed that watching the actors first read the material and take in their reactions, similar to Dawson, has helped encourage him towards potential rewrites. Filoni explained:
“One thing that I was very interested in, coming from animation, was really engaging the actors, inviting them into the process and hearing what they have to say. I really trust them all because they know these characters. They are the characters. So it gives me a lot of support and strength to go back and change things and rewrite things.”
Overall, it seems that Ahsoka Season 2 will heavily rely on cast chemistry.
