A total of seven American players still have dreams of lifting the FA Cup this May.
Tyler Adams, Chris Richards, and Ethan Horvath are among the seven American players remaining in this season’s competition. The Round of 16 is set to take place during the weekend of March 1.
Adams and Bournemouth advanced 2-0 past Everton and will next welcome Wolves to Vitality Stadium in the next round. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder went the distance against the Toffees.
Richards logged 90 minutes in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 road win over Doncaster Rovers on Monday. Fellow USMNT teammate Matt Turner registered a four-save clean sheet. The pair will prepare for a London Derby against Millwall in the Round of 16.
Horvath made three saves as Cardiff City outlasted Stoke City 4-2 in penalty kicks on Saturday. The Bluebirds will aim to pull a major upset in the Round of 16, traveling to Aston Villa.
Antonee Robinson will seek his first appearance of this season’s competition when Fulham travels to Manchester United. Robinson did not feature in victories over Watford and Wigan Athletic.
Duane Holmes and Luca Koleosho will square off in the Round of 16 as Preston North End takes on Burnley. Holmes and Preston defeated Wycombe Wanderers 4-2 on spot kicks after the two teams played out a 0-0 draw.
Koleosho, who is currently sidelined, did not feature in Burnley’s 1-0 road victory over Southampton. He has not yet debuted for the USMNT despite being eligible.
