If there’s one city in The Real Housewives franchise that has undergone a huge transformation in its cast members, it’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. With 15 seasons, new additions to the series are inevitable, but what’s interesting is where the current cast started and where they are in their personal lives now.
Season 15 sees a new side to the RHOBH cast now that a majority of them are in a different stage of life, and it’s all sorts of uplifting and enlightening. Divorces, separations, kids off to college, the Housewives of Beverly Hills are adapting to life’s changes in front of the cameras.
After a few dark seasons of bland storylines and forced drama, season 15 feels light. It’s as if the spark that the series used to have has reignited, and it’s finally fun to watch again.
RHOBH Season 15 Feels Light And Fun For The First Time In Years
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 sees the women like never before. Kyle Richards is separated from Mauricio Umansky and (finally) talking about her dating life; Dorit Kemsley is in the early stages of divorcing her husband; Sutton Stracke no longer has her ally to lean on; and Erika Girardi is finally in a good place after her legal woes.
For once, every main Housewife is single or loosely dating someone other than the person they started with on the show. While Kyle, Erika, and Dorit are legally still married to their partners, they have emotionally moved on from the fairytale they once lived. Without the shock factor of a divorce or separation, the Housewives can finally have fun as a group.
For too long, divisions amongst the Housewives and toxic romances have plagued this once great series. And now, season 15 feels light, like the reality show it once was. While there are still issues in the group, the women seem committed to working on their issues to make one less problem for themselves.
Enemies Sutton and Erika laid down their swords and enjoyed time together in the opening episode. They genuinely enjoyed themselves, which hasn’t always been easy. The same can be said for Bozoma “Boz” Saint John and Kyle. With a focus on friendship during hard times at home, RHOBH is so back.
Rachel Zoe Was The Perfect New Addition
Joining season 15 of RHOBH are two newcomers, Amanda Frances and Rachel Zoe. While Amanda has a large online following due to her financial strategy business, it’s Rachel Zoe who is the shining star for Season 15.
A fashion designer to the stars, Rachel makes millions styling celebrities and working on her brands. The stylist even formerly hosted a successful reality TV show on Bravo, titled The Rachel Zoe Project (2008-2013), which ran for five seasons and showed the ins and outs of Zoe’s personal and professional life.
What makes Rachel such a great addition to the cast is her connection to Kathy Hilton, who has been a friend or guest of the series since season 1, and the drama in her personal life.
Rachel and her longtime husband and business partner, Rodger Berman, separated in 2024. Their relationship was heavily shown on The Rachel Zoe Project, and it was a surprise that the pair were calling it quits.
In season 15, Rachel will show where she and Rodger stand as parents to two children and business partners as they navigate divorce. The new stage of life for Rachel matches the other Housewives, which only adds to the unity of the group. Between Rachel’s celebrity and the new stage of life for the Housewives, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills got off to a great start.
