The FA Cup draw has just taken place live on BBC One (during the One Show) and our opponents in the last 16 have now been confirmed.
Newcastle United will take on Brighton in the fifth round of the FA Cup, handing us a chance to get revenge on the Seagulls following their 1-0 win at St James’ Park back in October.
The game is due to take place over the weekend starting Saturday 1st March, falling in between our home clash with Nottingham Forest (Sunday 23rd February) and our trip to West Ham on Monday 10th March.
Eddie Howe’s Mags beat Birmingham City in the fourth round on Saturday night thanks to a Joe Willock brace and first half strike from Callum Wilson.

Looking at the draw, you’d expect Man City, Aston Villa, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest to progress to the quarter-finals, with Plymouth handed another brutal tie after knocking out Liverpool just yesterday.
With Arsenal knocked out to Man Utd in the third round and Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs all dumped out at the fourth round stage over the weekend, it’s a pretty open draw.
The bookies have us second favourites to win it, behind Man City, but there are plenty of in-form Premier League sides still in it, with Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest all fancying their chances.
