Barcelona have been going strong in 2025 and now have 23 goals in their last five games across all competitions.
Having touched the 100-goal mark with the 7-1 win over Valencia already, it is safe to say that Hansi Flick has well and truly turned around Barcelona’s fortunes, especially in terms of their brand of football.
The German tactician has indeed brought fresh ideas to Catalonia and has become famous for punishing his players for arriving late among other drastic changes.
SPORT now reveals the latest novelty of Flick’s training that has come out.
Tactical lessons
As relayed by the outlet, Flick has installed a giant screen in Barcelona’s training ground this season and is using it as a tool to work with his squad.
Alejandro Balde confirmed earlier today that the screen has been there for a long and that it served as a means for Flick to put across his ideas for every game clearly to the dressing room.
The manager usually plays videos of the upcoming opposition and the areas where his side must look to capitalize using the screen in what can only be described as a novelty in Barcelona.
After all, no former manager has adopted such an approach, not even Luis Enrique who was known for his tactical fascination and adopted a similar measure for the Spanish national team.
While it is uncommon in Spain, Flick’s idea is not quite as uncommon in Germany and it is clear that his idea stems from his roots in the Bundesliga. Going by the team’s results, it is safe to say his approach is working wonders.
