February 20 – Major League Soccer (MLS) has announced a new multi-year deal with Chime, naming the digital banking platform the Official Retail Banking, Credit Card, and Debit Card Partner of the league in the United States, with the summer All-Star Game, its crown jewel.
The format of the All-Star Game has yet to be revealed but what is known is that Chime will be serving as the presenting partner and appearing on All-Star jerseys.
“MLS continues to evolve alongside how fans experience and connect with the game,” said Carter Ladd, MLS EVP and Chief Revenue Officer.
“Partnering with Chime allows us to work with a brand that shares our focus on accessibility and innovation, helping us create immersive experiences and community initiatives that meet our fans where they engage with the sport.”
For Chime, the timing in a World Cup year is tactical and timely. With global attention turned towards soccer this summer in the US, the company sees MLS as a platform rooted in passion and community.

The partnership will roll out across the season. No term or value was given for deal.
The 2026 MLS season begins February 21, with a full slate of 15 matches, headlined by Los Angeles Football Club facing MLS Cup champions Inter Miami CF at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
