Knicks vs. Pacers: Over 224.5 total points (-108)
Although the Over has hit in only two of the last 12 Knicks games, those results came in their past four contests, and the Pacers are one of the more consistent Over teams in the league. The Over is 5-3 over the last eight Indiana games, and the Over hit in the first Knicks vs. Pacers game this season. New York has the No. 9 scoring offense (117.5 points per game) this season, and Indiana ranks 24th in scoring defense, allowing 118.5 ppg. The model projects the Over to hit in 55.7% of simulations. Rockets vs. Clippers: Over 210.5 total points (-108)
The Clippers have gone Over this total in four of their five games without James Harden in the lineup, beginning on Feb. 1 when Harden began sitting even before he was officially traded. Kawhi Leonard has excelled as the Clippers have needed him to score more, averaging 30.2 ppg over those five contests. Leonard had 41 of LA’s 115 points against Minnesota on Sunday. Meanwhile, Kevin Durant is 12th in the league in scoring at 25.9 points per game for the Rockets this season. They went Over this total in each of their first two matchups this season, averaging a combined 232 total points in those contests. The model projects the Over to hit in 67.6% of simulations. Duke (-16.5) vs. Pittsburgh (-118)
“I’m taking the low-hanging fruit here,” SportsLine expert Thomas Casale said. “It’s not just that Duke is coming off a loss to UNC, it’s how they lost. The Blue Devils controlled most of that game before going ice-cold in the final seven minutes. Duke gets the perfect opponent to take out its frustrations. Pitt is coming off losses of 20 (Virginia) and 19 (SMU). This is also a bad matchup for the Panthers. Duke should score at will near the basket versus a Pitt defense that ranks last in the ACC in two-point percentage and create a lot of turnovers that lead to easy buckets. I never lay this many points on the road in conference play but this feels like a Duke blowout win.” Back Duke to cover at DraftKings here:
