Cardi B and Stefon Diggs Reportedly Split After Super Bowl

It looks like an engagement is off the table for Cardi B and Stefon Diggs — for now.

A source tells Entertainment Tonight that the “Up” rapper and the New England Patriots star, who welcomed a baby boy last November, star, split “recently” despite Cardi’s appearance at the Super Bowl Sunday, where Diggs faced off against the Seattle Seahawks. And while it’s possible that they’ll reconcile, the source tells ET that Cardi’s focus is on her tour and her family as she navigates what’s next.

It’s possible they get back together and this could just be for right now. She is focused on her upcoming tour and family while figuring out their next steps.

The breakup news comes just days after Diggs gave an interview in which he told reporters that an engagement was “on the agenda” after the Super Bowl, but following the Patriots’ loss, it looks like the pair made the decision to go their separate ways, even unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Cardi, who appeared in Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show, sparked rumors of trouble in paradise between the pair over the weekend after giving an unenthusiastic response when asked if she had an inspiring message for Diggs before the big game, simply saying, “good luck.”

ScreenRant has reached out to both Cardi and Diggs’ reps for comment.

Cardi and Diggs hard-launched their relationship at a Knicks game in May 2025, and while it seems like the couple are broken up for now, it’s not the first time they’ve sparked breakup rumors, with fans noticing a rift between Cardi and Diggs last July just two months after making their relationship official.

They turned things around, however, with Cardi announcing her pregnancy in September following months-long rumors that she was with child. They welcomed their son, whose name has not been released, two months later, making the baby boy Cardi’s fourth. That same month, news broke that Diggs had fathered a baby girl with model Aileen Lopera, who gave birth seven months earlier. He is also dad to his daughter, Nova.

The Bronx-raised rapper is also a mother to three other children, Kulutre, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1, whom she shares with estranged husband Offset. She filed for divorce from the Migos rapper back in July 2024, four years after her first filing in 2020. Their divorce is yet to be finalized.
