Feeling blue? Well, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat this month, thanks to Ubisoft. If the teases are true, then Game Pass subscribers will soon be exploring gorgeous new worlds and battling for the lives of the Na’vi in the second Pandoran war. It’s time to reconnect to your heritage and unite the clans to battle the looming threat of the Resources Development Administration.
Thanks to a tease on Reddit by Xbox Era, it’s looking pretty likely that we’ll soon be re-awakening from cryosleep to fight for the lives of all Na’vi. Raised by humans and treated like an outsider by your clan Sarentu, you’ll have an uphill battle to unite the different Na’vi factions and take down the corrupt RDA who want to pillage the planet for resources.
Xbox Game Pass Is Getting Another AAA Ubisoft Game
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Coming to Game Pass
This is truly a great best-rated game addition for Game Pass subscribers. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has that Ubisoft DNA running through its veins, and it’s all the better for it. Similar to the very best Far Cry games (not you New Dawn!), you’ll be dismantling strongholds, cleansing pollution zones and letting rip with assault rifles once your stealth attempts go awry. The action scales quickly and weapons are nice and punchy, meaning you’re never far away from chaotic fun.
The game will quietly nudge you towards the stealth approach and Na’vi weapons like spears and bows all help you take down bases silently. But, you also have shotguns and assault rifles and sure it’d be rude not to take them for a spin, right? When everything goes wrong and the bullets start flying, you can become an acrobatic Rambo taking down mechs and everything else that the RDA can throw at you.
Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Looks Set For The Service
Great News for Game Pass Subscribers
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a great bonus addition in February for Game Pass subscribers. Running off the Snowdrop engine, the visuals are absolutely stunning. Dense alien jungles, floating mountains and gloriously bright glowing flora all come together to deliver some jaw-dropping moments throughout the game. It’s a beautiful open world to explore that might see you losing hours at a time.
The game also doesn’t suffer from egregious bloat like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Sure, there is a checklist feeling to it, but it never pushes it too far and the plot feels lean and restrained compared to some other Ubisoft titles. The main story is around 20+ hours, although you can add another 10+ hours if you want to complete everything. Now might be the time to avail of a free Game Pass trial if you’re not already a subscriber.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora offers a great stand-alone gaming experience. Set between movies and focusing on new characters, it gives you a chance to explore the world of Pandora and the gorgeous secrets it holds. 2026 is already shaping up to be a great year for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Now the only thing blue this February…will be the color of your skin, Tamtey!
