The Champions League play-off draw has now been made.

The 2025/26 UEFA Champions League knockout phase play-off draw process starting at 11am this Friday (30 January) morning.
The Champions League play-off draw involves the teams finishing in ninth to 24th place in the league phase, the top eight sides in the league phase having qualified automatically for the round of 16.
This is who the 16 Champions League clubs will now face in the play-offs (the seeded teams are named first each time, they have the advantage of playing at home in the second leg):

Atletico Madrid v Club Brugge
Real Madrid v Benfica

Second legs: 24/25 February 2026
(The draw that will determine the last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final will take place on 27 February 2026.)
The dates for the knockout phase are as follows:
Last 16: 10-11 and 17-18 March
Quarter-finals: 7-8 and 14-15 April
Semi-finals: 28-29 April and 5-6 May
Final: 30 May
