Rasmus Hojlund
The Dane went a third consecutive game without scoring to start the year for SSC Napoli.
Hojlund played the entire 90 minutes of Napoli’s 2-2 draw with Inter Milan, where former United star Scott McTominay was the hero, firing in a brace. He had a total of two shots in the game, one of which was blocked by the Inter defence.
Nonetheless, he came inches from opening his account for 2026 when he struck the post with an effort.
He raced through on goal just after half-time, but he slightly dragged his left-footed shot and it clipped the base of the post. The chance went down as a big opportunity missed to win the match for his side.
The 22-year-old also failed to complete any key passes or dribbles as he struggled to get further involved in the attack.
His passing was also quite low at only 76%. He was also weak defensively, failing to win any tackles or aerial duels. He only came out on top in two of his seven ground duels in a disappointing night.
Hojlund will once again be in action on Wednesday evening when Napoli host Parma in the league.

Marcus Rashford
The United man won his first trophy of his FC Barcelona career as they beat Real Madrid 3-2 in the Super Cup final.
He came on for the final seven minutes and had a big chance to seal the victory.
Rashford raced through on goal in the 94th minute, but he fired his shot wide of the right-hand post.
He failed to make any key passes but did complete all eight of his attempted ones in the match.
The United winger also won one of his three ground duels whilst on the pitch.
Barcelona face Racing Santander in the cup on Thursday and Rashford will hope for a chance to return to the starting line-up.
