Every New TV Show Coming to Apple TV in January 2026

2025 was a phenomenal year for Apple TV+, whether it was the success of the most-talked-about sci-fi new series in Pluribus or the bevy of Emmy nominations that Severance season 2 saw; if anything, the platform has made a play to be the best platform for sci-fi in 2025 and beyond. The 2026 slate of titles on Apple TV offers new movies and TV that are pushing the medium forward. However, January is marked by the return of several fan-favorite series. This includes a rather eclectic mix, from the acclaimed spy thriller Tehran to the infectious drama-comedy Shrinking to the masterfully crafted drama Drops of God.

Here are all the TV shows that are making their return with new seasons on Apple TV+ in January 2026, along with when you can stream them.

‘Tehran’ (Season 3)

Available to Stream January 9th

The espionage thriller following Tamar Rabinyan (played by Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent deep undercover in Iran’s capital, forced to go rogue and hunted, has made for some nail-biting TV from season one. The latest season of Tehran welcomes some exciting new additions to the cast, including multi-Emmy nominee Hugh Laurie of House M.D. and The Night Manager fame.

Set to begin with Tamar in full survival mode after the shocking events of Season two’s final episode, “Blood Funeral,” which saw an assassin, a poisoning, and an intense getaway. For fans, they can expect an even further escalation of personal and political peril surrounding Niv Sultan’s Tamar. Season three of Tehran debuts January 9, 2026, with new episodes releasing weekly.

‘Hijack’ (Season 2)

Available to Stream January 14th

A highly anticipated second season, the high-octane thriller Hijack expands on its exploration of hostage situations and the emotional toll and desperation they impose. The first season, which centered on the hijacking of a plane, delivered nonstop suspense and clever storytelling backed by a phenomenal cast led by Idris Elba (as Sam Nelson).

Hard to top, the second season looks to be on the right track, taking the same format and applying it to an intense hostage situation on a Berlin Train that Sam Nelson has to navigate. Posing new dangers, Hijack will offer the same edge-of-your-seat pacing and addictive drama that won over a dedicated fan base in its inaugural season. The first two episodes of Hijack will be available to stream on Apple TV+ on January 14, 2026, with new episodes weekly.

‘Drops of God’ (Season 2)

Available to Stream January 21st

The show that bridges the gap between a sommelier and a casual appreciator of wine, Drops of God first season delivered a delectable drama that blends mystery, competition, and celebration of the globally revered drink. The first season saw fierce competition as Camille Léger (Fleur Geffrier) and Issei Tomine (Tomohisa Yamashita) competed for the inheritance of a revered wine estate.

Now with the competition over, Season two shifts to a grander mystery as the two lead characters must work together to try to uncover the legendary ‘Drops of God’ wine collection. A deepening of the series’ lore, Drops of God looks to deliver still the same lush cinematography, complex character-driven drama, and intelligent scripting that have made the International Emmy Award winner a critical stand-out that is also celebrated by wine connoisseurs. The first episode of season two of Drops of God premieres January 21, 2026, on Apple TV+, with new episodes weekly.

‘Shrinking’ (Season 3)

Available to Stream January 28th

The warm and witty comedy-drama of Shrinking, featuring an ensemble cast including Jason Segel as Jimmy Laird and Harrison Ford as Dr. Paul Rhoades, returns for its anticipated third season. Following the lives of therapists and their patients as they navigate both personal and professional challenges, the series has been gaining momentum with each season, with its second praised for its blend of humor and genuine heartfelt moments.

Already backed by a phenomenal cast, season three features some exciting new additions, including Michael J. Fox, whose guest role will allow the program to explore the severity of Parkinson’s disease further. Additionally, Jeff Daniels joins the cast as Jimmy’s father, introducing a deeper family dynamic to the series. Regardless, fans can expect Shrinking to continue to offer new cases that deliver a delicate balance of thoughtful drama and comedy. The first episode of season three of Shrinking premieres January 28, 2026, on Apple TV+, with new episodes weekly.

‘Yo Gabba GabbaLand!’ (Season 2)
