West Ham United pen licensing agreement with OddBalls

December 2 – West Ham United have announced a new licensing agreement with OddBalls that will see the club’s men’s and women’s teams front a dedicated line of branded underwear.

OddBalls will produce a full range of Hammers-branded underwear, with each item carrying its trademark colourful patterns alongside ‘bespoke West Ham detailing’.

But it is the partnership’s charitable element that sets it apart. 10% of net sales from the West Ham x OddBalls collection will go directly to DT38 – the foundation established in memory of Dylan Tombides, a talented West Ham and Australia youth international who died from testicular cancer in 2014, aged just 20.

DT38 – which already stands as an official charity partner of the East London club – was launched by Dylan’s mother, Tracy, and the Tombides family, and has become a prominent voice in early detection and education around testicular cancer. Its mission centres on encouraging self-checking and improving diagnostic pathways for young men, with the intention of saving lives through awareness.

OddBalls’ products already carry a “Check Yourself Guide” inside every pack, and the collaboration strengthens the alignment between the company’s health messaging and DT38’s frontline work.

For West Ham, the agreement functions on several levels: a new commercial category, a chance to extend the club’s brand into lifestyle retail, and a reaffirmation of a relationship with a cause that carries profound emotional weight within the fanbase.

OddBalls has raised more than £1 million for charity since its founding, and the company’s partnership with West Ham represents one of its most high-profile club collaborations to date.

Speaking on the launch of West Ham United OddBalls products, DT38 Founder and CEO Tracy Tombides said: “DT38 continue to recognise the strong support from West Ham United with their upcoming collaboration with OddBalls.

“With DT38 receiving 10% of the revenue from sales of this collaboration we are able to steadily increase our demand for resources that go hand in hand when we partner in the community to educate and raise awareness of testicular cancer.”

“By supporting this collaboration, DT38 can continue its mission to save lives through Dylan’s story and legacy by focusing on early detection and getting that message out there that delay is deadly – get educated.”

Dylan’s former teammate and Club Ambassador Matt Jarvis finished: “Dylan was a great footballer, teammate, but most importantly an amazing person and I think it’s brilliant to see the Club continue to honour his legacy by collaborating with OddBalls.

“Anything that raises awareness on testicular cancer, encourages early detection and ultimately saves lives is vitally important, it’s amazing to see a percentage of funds raised go directly to DT38 to support their life saving work.”
