It’s that time of the year again when popular streaming services like Peacock decide to end the year with a memorable experience for their users, and it appears that it’s already in motion. Peacock has been a key platform in the entertainment industry for a few years, often covering underappreciated mediums such as late-night talk shows, sports, and reality TV.
Additionally, the streaming service is well-known for its monthly releases, some of which are borrowed from third-party services such as NBC and Bravo, while others are Peacock originals. However, most entertainment aficionados look forward to the new films introduced each month. With that in mind, we’ve prepared a list of every movie coming to Peacock in December 2024.
‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’
Streaming December 1
Love works in mysterious ways, but Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, released in 2004, provides the perfect explanation of why. Michel Gondry directed the film, and it is one of the highest-rated films of all time, with a Rotten Tomatoes audience score (Popcornmeter) of 94%.
Starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, the film tells the story of Clementine and Joel, a couple who once loved each other dearly. When things don’t work out between them, Joel is shocked to discover that Clementine has erased him from her memory. Hurt and angry, Joel resolves to do the same, but during the process, he is haunted by the recollections of the love of his life, and it is clear that he will never be able to get her out of his mind. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind will be available for streaming on Peacock beginning Dec. 1.

‘Inception’
Streaming December 1
Christopher Nolan, the iconic filmmaker, has created several unique films over his career, from the timeless Memento to the most recent sensation, Oppenheimer. Inception, however, is a one-of-a-kind film that only comes along once in a generation, thanks to Nolan’s phenomenal storytelling and screenplay, which elevated its impact to new heights.

In this genre-defining film, Dom Cobb, played by Leonardo DiCaprio, is a skilled burglar who has mastered the art of stealing from the subconscious mind. However, in the process, he lost everything he had ever loved. When given one last opportunity at redemption, Cobb must do the impossible: instead of stealing an idea, he must plant it in someone else’s subconscious. Inception is one of the greatest films of the 21st century, and it will be available on Peacock beginning Dec. 1.

‘Sonic The Hedgehog’
Streaming December 1
In an era where almost all video game film adaptations often fail miserably, Sonic The Hedgehog proved somewhat of an outlier. Based on the video game series published by Sega, Sonic The Hedgehog tells the story of the world’s fastest hedgehog, who seeks refuge on Earth from his planet Mobius. However, after he accidentally cuts off the power in a large part of the United States, he becomes the prime target of Dr. Robotnik, who is hell-bent on world domination. Will Sonic be able to stop the mad scientist before he causes major damage to the world?
The film was not only a critical success, but it also performed exceptionally well commercially, grossing $320 million on a $90 million budget. If you’ve been looking forward to seeing Sonic The Hedgehog 3 in theaters this December, revising the first film will be worthwhile when it comes out on Peacock on Dec. 1.

‘Speak No Evil’
Streaming December 1
Remakes seldom live up to the hype, but when they do, we get films like Speak No Evil, which is arguably one of the best horror films released this year. In particular, James McAvoy as Paddy steals the show, and James Watkins does an outstanding job with both direction and screenplay.
