Jimmy Kimmel Says “I’ll Go When You Go” to Donald Trump Adding “Quiet Piggy”

Jimmy Kimmel has finally given his greatest admirer, President Donald Trump, something he has wanted for a long time – an answer to the question of when he will finally go off-air. During his monologue on Thursday, Kimmel shot back at Trump’s use of his favorite phrase – “he’s got not talent and very poor television ratings” – in his latest Truth Social outburst.

“He keeps saying we have bad ratings,” Kimmel said. “And you should listen to him – because if anyone knows about bad ratings – it’s that guy!”

While Trump still seems hellbent on getting rid of Kimmel and several other late-night hosts like Seth Meyers, Kimmel doesn’t seem too worried about Trump’s latest calls for him to be removed from ABC over his “biased views.” Kimmel said:

“You tried to get me fired in September. It didn’t work. Mr. President – I admire your tenacity.”

Kimmel then made the president an offer, while using the recent viral news story of Trump brutishly silencing a Bloomberg reporter who asked him a question about the ongoing controversy over the release of the Epstein files for his payoff.

“If you’re watching tonight – which I presume you are – how about this: I’ll go when you go. We’ll be a team. Let’s ride off into the sunset together – like Butch Cassidy and the Suntan Kid. And until then – if I may borrow a phrase from you… quiet, Piggy!”

Late-Night Television Hosts Have Been Running Wild with Trump

As much as it may annoy the current Leader of the Free World, late-night talk show hosts have always been there to pick apart the world’s biggest news stories, and, more often than not, point out the ridiculousness of politics in particular. Whichever president has been in the White House, this is where people have come to hear their dubious decisions, ill-timed missteps, and complete mishandling of certain situations be held to account in the name of comedy.

While Donald Trump has taken massive offense at being the target of many opening monologs, his beef with Jimmy Kimmel has always seemed to be heightened compared to the comedian’s peers. This is all the more bizarre when South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker are currently putting out new episodes of the animated series each week that center on Trump being the lover of Satan, looking after demon offspring, and getting into bed with JD Vance…literally.

While it seems that we will not see Trump backing down on this matter anytime in the near future, everyone knows that every new post and comment made by the president is simply giving Kimmel another fully fleshed-out monologue like a gift. As for Kimmel’s offer to “ride off into the sunset together,” the host’s contract comes to an end with his current season, but whether he chooses to renew that is yet to be seen. Perhaps Trump’s fan-mail posts on Truth Social could actually be the thing that helps him decide that it might be best to stay on a little longer so he can keep up correspondence with his biggest fan.
