Silent Hill F Cast Opens Up About Joining The Project
Finding The Beauty In Terror
During the interview, the actors reveal what it was like learning about first joining the Silent Hill f project. Yen said it was exciting to be a part of an IP as big as Silent Hill, stating: “It’s Silent Hill. It’s a legacy you’re living up to… especially this one that takes place in a different setting.” Silent Hill f moves away from the series’ roots of its American setting and takes place in a village in Japan, with a heavy emphasis on Japanese-style horror.
Yeung, when asked if she drew inspiration from personal experiences to portray the game’s main character said, “I think that Hinako, at this stage in life, is quite rebellious, especially in this time period.” The game takes place in the 1960s. Kevich commented that “there’s lots of screaming in this game.” That fear should please Silent Hill f and horror fans, as the game releases on September 25.
