Fans of Hazbin Hotel, and its Hellaverse sister show Helluva Boss, are in for a hellish few days after creator Vivienne Medrano teased some big news coming this weekend. Medrano is set to be joined by several key creatives from both series, including Skye Henwood, Sam Miller, Mel Mrozek, Amanda Heard, and Tony Raphielle Somerville at Animate! Orlando to showcase a panel featuring an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Hazbin Hotel’s upcoming second season. However, it seems that fans will be getting much more than this.
Hazbin Hotel is set to return to Prime Video on October 29th for its long-awaited second season, but Medrano’s original show, Helluva Boss, which follows a similar adult animation/musical format, is also part of the Prime Video family after the extraordinary success of Hazbin Hotel’s first season. For this reason, many fans believe that a crossover of the two shows will be happening sooner rather than later, and the creators have even hinted at the same thing themselves.
Medrano shared an official statement when it comes to the upcoming panel: “The SpindleHorse Team can’t wait to give you all a peek behind the scenes as well as share what’s next for the studio. Most of all though, we are extremely excited to give you all an exclusive first look at something special we’ve been working on!”
President and Founder of Animate! Orlando’s parent company was also excited about SpindleHorse’s panel. They added:
“We truly couldn’t be more excited to host this exclusive SpindleHorse panel. The passion that Hellaverse fans have is unmatched right now, and this panel is a can’t miss event for both fans and press alike.”

‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 2 Has Been In Production For a Long Time
Sometimes, patience pays off in a big way for fans, and that has certainly been the case with Hazbin Hotel. The hotel in Hell made its debut in 2019 with a single pilot episode, which then had a spin off, Helluva Boss, which itself became a massive online sensation. It was not until January 2024 that Hazbin Hotel finally hit the big time and debuted on Prime Video as a reworked series, with an all-star cast including Erika Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, and Keith David taking over from some of the original leads.
Hazbin Hotel debuted with the biggest viewership of any new animated series on Prime Video, guaranteeing the future adventures of Charlie Morningstar and her ragtag band of demons. Now, the return of the series is only a couple of months away, and fans are desperate to know what will happen next. Medrano has already teased that Season 2 will be going bigger, and that means more songs, more laughs, and more of exactly what has made the Hellaverse the megahit it has become.
