Americana summer – So many 1990’s Americana trends and red, white and blue color palettes are trending. Boat shoes! Madras! The summer canvas tote! Today I am walking through a few of my favorites. PS see more unexpected red, white and blue in this post.
MADRAS // Madras is roaring back. I just recently bought this shirt and have been eyeing this skirt. Tnuck of course nailed the trend here.
BOAT SHOES // You can never go wrong with a classic pair like these, but my personal favorites are here.
FLAG SWEATER // It feels like you can’t scroll IG this summer without seeing a flag sweater. There are lots of great options, but I ended up getting this one (see it styled here). A few other favorites are this one, this one and this one.
THE BOAT TOTE // Listen the LL Bean boat tote never goes out of style, but I love to see it trending. The boat tote is even getting a upgrade – you can read about it here.
CLASSIC JEWELS // Pearls and pretty chains are the choice accessory for an Americana look. For me these preppy pearls have been on repeat.
RED, WHITE & BLUE EVERYWHERE // So many brands are embracing RWB color palettes this year – I even got the chance to art direct this RWB collection a few months back!
