‘Poker Face’ (Season 2 Finale)

A case-of-the-week series, Poker Face is a crime comedy drama that follows Charlie Cale (Natasha Lyonne), a casino worker who has a unique set of skills. With the ability to decipher when someone is lying, Charlie solves mysteries wherever she goes. ‘Love Island: Beyond the Villa’ (Season 1)

A new kind of reality show spin-off, Love Island: Beyond the Villa follows the cast of Love Island USA Season 6 as they navigate their lives in Los Angeles, California. With new careers, romantic relationships, evolving friendships, and a bit of newfound fame, returning to the real world after living in the Love Island USA villa might be harder than they think. That being said, the drama might be exactly the same.
As Peacock’s most-streamed reality competition series, Love Island helped fans fall in love with Leah, Serena, and JaNa’s friendship as they and their partners made it to the finale. While Serena and Kordell won first place, all three couples are still together. Hopefully, their newest reality series doesn’t change that. Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 1 is streaming on July 13.
‘Destination X’ (Season 1 Finale)

A different kind of competition reality series, Destination X calls upon its contestants’ geography skills in order to stay in the game. Hosted by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the show uses Europe as its game board, where players decipher their location based on specific clues. They’ve traveled to various places across the continent and visited attractions off the beaten path, each of which has been altered for the show’s weekly challenge.
As each contestant has navigated deception and mind games, some have been able to utilize their observational skills to determine their location. As the first season reaches its conclusion, the Map Room eliminates those whose X on the map has been the furthest from their current location. Now, with a $250,000 prize in sight, only a few contestants remain heading into the Season 1 finale. The Destination X season finale is streaming on July 30.

A post-apocalyptic action comedy, Twisted Metal follows John Doe (Anthony Mackie), a deliveryman with amnesia, who travels the wasteland of a desolate America delivering packages. However, his life completely shifts when he takes a job delivering a parcel with unknown contents. After meeting a drifter named Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz), the pair eventually fall in love while navigating the chaos of various marauders in deadly and destructive vehicles.

As the series returns for a second season, John and Quiet will have to compete in the Twisted Metal tournament if they want to live. Hosted by the mysterious Calypso (Anthony Carrigan), the sinister demolition derby will pit John against new foes and old friends alike. Twisted Metal Season 2 is streaming on July 31.
