The cast of Good Boy includes famous South Korean actors you’ve probably seen in other K-dramas. Directed by Shim Na-yeon, who is known for her work on Beyond Evil, Good Boy centers around ex-Olympic medalists and sports champions. After their careers come to an end, the athletes join the police force and help bring criminals to justice. Good Boy is the perfect example of why Korean TV shows have been receiving positive reviews from both domestic and international critics and audiences.
The series manages to blend humor with action in an effortless way, while also having emotional depth. But perhaps the best thing about the action-packed K-drama is how well the actors embody their characters. The main and supporting cast of Good Boy is absolutely remarkable, and they do an incredible job of bringing Lee Dae-il’s story to life. Everything in the TV show comes together nicely, from the show’s pacing to its intriguing premise, and it’s mostly thanks to the K-drama’s talented cast.
