The Premier League have released the latest fixture amendments and matches selected for live UK TV broadcast from 26th December to 8th January, 2026.
The announcement confirms that Newcastle’s trip to Man Utd will be the only Boxing Day fixture this year, kicking off at 8pm and shown live on Sky Sports from Old Trafford.
This sees the match brought forward, moving from Saturday 27th December (3pm) to Friday 26th (8pm), meaning a manic day for Newcastle United fans who have been let down here once again by poor planning and a total lack of consideration.
Elsewhere, our trip to Burnley on 30th December will now kick off at 7.30pm, not 8pm, with Sky Sports set to screen the game at Turf Moor.
Our home clash with Crystal Palace has also moved from Saturday 3rd January to Sunday 4th January, with the game at St James’ Park due to be shown on Sky Sports at 3pm, while Leeds’ trip to Tyneside on Wednesday 7th January has been moved from 8pm to 8.15pm for Sky Sports coverage.
